

In Win10, the only indication you are likely to see regarding this, since Windows Update runs in the background, is a general slowdown of the PC, a lack of responsiveness, and the disk usage being very high while it is downloading the Upgrade files. When I applied this to my PCs, it took over three HOURS for each PC, and it rendered the PC pretty much useless during that timeframe -due to the downloading, prep, and installation efforts required. Microsoft very recently released their FCU to the general public, so PCs that were not seeing it previous, will start seeing it, and downloading it, now. My guess is that this might be a side-effect of the Fall Creator's Update (FCU) being loaded onto your PC.
